Gene Scherer

Gene Scherer was used primarily in roles that called for a character with a heavy Russian or foreign accent. He appeared in such films as 'Stripes' (1981), 'Red Dawn' (1984), 'Re-Animator' (1985), 'Hollywood Cop' and 'Russkies' (both 1987). Among television shows he appeared in were 'The Rockford Files', 'Fantasy Island', 'The White Shadow', 'Trapper John, M.D.', 'Airwolf', 'The Scarecrow and Mrs. King' and 'Murphy Brown'.
