Biography

Born in Jersey City and raised in New York, Mark graduated SUNY Stony Brook and while studying a year at the University of Manchester in England, traveled throughout Europe and the Mid East with a backpack, inspiring his need to investigate what makes us all so different, yet all so much the same, imperative for performance. He returned to NY to work a gig as an undercover agent in NYC to make enough money to move to Los Angeles and a few months later earned his SAG card playing a junkyard night watchman in the very last episode of the TV series, The FBI. Mark began a long term study period with famed acting coach, Jeff Corey, cleaning out the studio and bathroom in place of tuition. Producer Aaron Spelling soon spotted him in a clothing commercial and cast him in many of his popular TV shows of the time.
