Biography

Alan was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania the second of 3 children of Samuel Scalone, a mechanical engineer, and Mary Jo Scalone. His father was 2nd generation Sicilian from Enna, Sicily and his mother was 5th generation Scottish of the Macrae clan of Scotland. Alan began his acting career in 1985 in Phoenix, Arizona performing in various independent films, TV commercials, industrial training films and theatrical plays. In 1989, Alan produced and starred in his first full length feature film "Twisted Fate", a psycho-thriller about a multiple personality serial killer, Grace and her seductive alter ego, Virginia who would seduce men for her sister Grace to drug and slowly torture to death. Alan also generously donated his talent to the Maricopa County Sherriff's departments TV and Print "War On Drugs" campaign to deter casual drug use that can lead to serious drug addictions.
