Biography

Peter's film "Chasing Chekhov" won the BAFTA/LA Best Short Film Award. He also directed the award-winning "The Red Scarf" and "Coming Into Money" and his debut film as writer-director; "Blacktop Afternoon" qualified for the 68th Academy Awards®. Peter's screenplay credits include writing the WB Network & Sci-Fi Channel's "The Secret Adventures of Jules Verne" and 'Deus Volt'. He has written the pilot for the Honor Harrington" TV series based on the best selling books of David Weber. Peter also works in TV and as a producer in independent film; "A Leading Man", "Only In L.A. and "Finding Momma". As an actor Peter has co-starred with George Clooney, Rutger Hauer, Mira Sorvino, Elliot Gould, and Omar Sharif among others. Concentrating more on directing and producing nowadays; Peter's latest film he wrote and directed "Girl On A Train" is now on the festival circuit.
