Biography

Ecstasia Sanders was born in San Diego, California on July 15, 1985. The elder of two to an African American father and a Scottish/English mother, Ecstasia was raised in a very artistic household and grew up watching her parents performing on the stage. Her mother, singer/songwriter Dayle Tomson, and her father, musical-theatre performer and current member of "The Sojuorners" Will Sanders, saw the same passion for performing in Ecstasia at an early age and decided to get her an agent and give her the opportunity to audition for film and television. Ecstasia's vibrancy landed her first commercial at 7 years old, and she went on to star in many commercials such as Perfume Princess (1994), Alphabets (1995), Polly Pocket (1996), and Operation (1999). She landed her first big part in a feature film as a supporting lead alongside Michele Lee in Color Me Perfect (1996).
