Biography

Deborah began her career as a child actress in Minneapolis, Minnesota at The Guthrie Theater in such stage productions as A Christmas Carol and The Taming of the Shrew. As a teenager, Deborah moved with her family to Los Angeles and immediately began working as an actress in feature films and television: Straight Time with Dustin Hoffman, Lepke with Tony Curtis and in various MOWs including Kate Bliss and the Ticker Tape Kid and the television series Happy Days. She then moved behind the camera into film editorial and was fortunate to work with such directors as Francis Ford Coppola, Caleb Deschanel and Wim Wenders while at Hollywood's Zoetrope Studios. Deborah worked closely with Mr. Coppola and his son, Gio in the first video film-to-tape editing system on Apocalypse Now, One from the Heart, The Escape Artist and Hammett.
