Biography

The daughter of a Haitian mother and French Canadian father, Sharlene Royer is fluent in both English and French. she was a dancer from the ages of 7 to 18, and is classically trained in ballet, jazz and tap, having studied with Louise Lapierre and Les Grands Ballets Eddie Toussaint and - at just 13 - performed on Montreal's world-class stage at Place des Arts. As a teenager Ms. Royer was part of the theatre group La Troupe des Carcans, where she spent over four years perfecting her craft. Later, Ms. Royer studied Art & Communications at College Jean-de-Brébeuf . While working as a model and actor, Ms. Royer was discovered by acclaimed stunt coordinator Alan Oliney in 1999 and quickly catapulted to the forefront of the stunt-work scene, soon becoming the sought-after favorite for stars like Halle Berry, Vanessa Williams , Rosario Dawson, Monica and Pam Grier.
