Biography

Geoffrey Rowland is an Emmy award and A.C.E. winner for The Path to 911; The Stoning of Soraya M.; The Seeker: The Dark Is Rising; and Moonlighting). He recently edited the feature film, The Young Messiah (2016) He began his career working in editorial on Steven Spielberg's Close Encounters of the Third Kind and the Academy Award winning film Rocky. As an editor, Geoffrey cut some of televisions greatest shows such as Hill Street Blues, Moonlighting and Cagney and Lacey. He also created the mood and set the tone for Buffy the Vampire Slayer when he edited the 2-hour pilot. Throughout his career, Geoffrey has been both nominated and won for editing numerous programs. He received the highest honor television can bestow with an Emmy Award for The Path To 911 which also won him the coveted ACE Award.
