Biography

Jeff was born and raised in Montreal, Canada. His Mom was French Canadian and his Dad from the Maritimes. He left law school to attend theater school - at the Moscow Art Theatre, in Russia, and Carnegie Mellon University. Shortly thereafter, he founded the critically acclaimed Arbat Theatre Company in his hometown. His first professional acting role was on Guiding Light, followed by Free Money, starring Marlon Brando. His first starring role in a series was Vampire High, syndicated Worldwide. Jeff can currently be seen on Netflix in his starring role in Backcountry, opposite Missy Peregrym and Eric Balfour, a film which he also Executive Produced. After premiering at TIFF, Backcountry became IFC's top grossing film of the year. Both the film and Jeff's work have been praised, with the film holding a 92% "Fresh" rating.
