Biography

Robert Rhine (writer/actor/producer) is the spawn of TV comedy writer Larry Rhine (All In The Family, Bob Hope, Red Skeleton) and comedic TV and film actress Hazel Shermet (A Star Is Born, Love At First Bite, New Zoo Review). Both were recorded by The Archive of American Television. A massive head injury and skull fracture 'clinically' killed Robert Rhine when he was ten years old but he was revived and survived to become a dark fiction writer fascinated with the subject of death. In 2002, Robert Steven Rhine (aka Corpsy) became the Founder/Publisher and Deaditor-In-Chief of Girls and Corpses, a worldwide newsstand magazine featured on such media as: Entertainment Tonight, TMZ, Inside Edition, Entertainment Weekly, Maxim, E-News, Bizarre, VICE, Oddities, worldwide newspapers and hundreds of web news sites. In 2015, famed music producer Kim Fowley (The Runaways) passed away and bequeathed his body to Girls and Corpses Magazine to be put on the cover as his last wishes -- which were met.
