Biography

Jean-Michel Richaud grew up in Paris, and lived and worked in Spain, Holland and Australia before settling in Los Angeles. He received his masters degree at Sorbonne University and completed studies at Paris's National Conservatory for Dramatic Arts. While at the Conservatory, he won a scholarship to study at New York's Columbia University, under the tutelage of director Andrei Serban. His on-camera work includes numerous recurring roles on television, including opposite Sharon Stone in Agent X. He co-starred in Bottle Shock opposite Alan Rickman and in What Just Happened opposite Robert DeNiro, among many other credits. In 2015, he shot the lead role in a period gothic thriller shot in Vietnam, The Housemaid, which turned out to become the highest grossing horror film of all times there. As a voice over artist, Richaud has dubbed over 400 films and TV shows, including Colin Firth in The King's Speech, Bradley Cooper in Silver Linings Playbook, and Al Pacino in the 25th anniversary
