Biography

Ralph Meyering, Jr. has built a steady career as a character actor of the past 35+ years, mostly on television, appearing in mostly guest roles on TV shows, and also in made-for TV films. after graduation from the UCLA: Department of Theatre Arts in 1977, he began his Hollywood acting career, appearing in an episode of NBC-TV's "The Rockford Files". An actor by trade since the late 1970's, Ralph appeared in numerous guest roles over the years, appearing on such popular TV shows as ''The Rockford Files'', ''Moonlighting'', ''Hill Street Blues'', ''Amen'', 'Murder, She Wrote'', ''L.A. Law'', and, more recently, ''Heartland'' and ''Monk''. As a writer, he has also written or co-written episodes for ''The Law and Harry McGraw'', ''Downtown'', '"Quantum Leap", 'Murder, She Wrote, and ''The New Adam-12''.
