Saki Miata

Saki is an award-winning actress who received Bronze Award for Best Actress in May 2020 from the Los Angeles Independent Shorts Awards and one of the nominees for the Best Actress in July 2020, both for her role of Liu in a short film "ROOM 3." She is a Japanese-English bilingual talent. She was born and raised in Japan and moved to Michigan at the age of fifteen. She has a Bachelor of Science degree in mathematics from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. (Go Blue!) While working as an investment banker in Tokyo, she joined an amateur theater company, Gekidan Kiza, led by her favorite author, the late Shusaku Endo, and that's where she was bit by a stage bug! She first studied acting at Bungakuza Theatre Company in Tokyo for one year, then moved to Los Angeles to pursuit an on-camera acting career.
