Derek Mears is an American actor and stunt performer. He started out doing improv comedy before transitioning to stunt work and acting in film and television. He has appeared in minor roles as well as genre productions. Mears has specialized in portraying horror and science fiction characters. He has collaborated with notable directors and production teams in television and film and has worked on Hollywood blockbusters and provided voice performances for various projects. Mears was nominated for an MTV Movie Award for Best Villain.
