Biography

Regal, poised, and graceful... these words best describe Ania Marson. With her timeless beauty and natural talent to match, she was a reincarnation of Audrey Hepburn with a Polish twist. Her career began in the swinging sixties where she performed with the Corona Theatre School. Her regal beauty and charisma won her the role of Tsar Nicholas's eldest daughter, Grand Duchess Olga Nikolaevna of Russia in the film Nicholas and Alexandra (a role that audiences would best remember her for). A working actress, she continued to work in various roles in British film and television. She is known for her small but captivating roles in projects such as Blake's 7, Dixon of Dock Green, Emma, and Puppet On A Chain. She is married to film director, Derek Liste, with whom she has two children. After a twenty-year hiatus, she returned to acting in 2012 and has been busy working on one film/television project to another.
