Simone North is a Creative Producer, Writer and Director. Simone Created and Produced: "Fire" and "Fire 2", 2 x 13 hour Mini-Series for the Seven Network. "Fire" was a rating hit in Australia, scoring a 48 share on its final night. "Fire" was nominated for Most Outstanding Mini-Series and Most Popular Drama at the 1994 Logies. Next was "Adrenalin Junkies" aka "Medivac" for the Ten Network. "Adrenalin Junkies" ran for three seasons with a total of 48 hours. Following this was "The Day of the Roses" a four-hour mini-series, based on the events surrounding a true-life train crash in Sydney. "Roses" final night had a 54 share and went on to win three AFI/AACTA awards: Most Outstanding Miniseries, Direction and Screenwriting. It also won Guild awards for Screenwriting, Makeup, Cinematography and Music. It won a Logie for Best mini series and was nominated for Best Actress and Best Actor.
