Simon Northwood

Simon Northwood considers himself to be a well-travelled and adaptable individual. He was born in Wimbledon, England. His family moved between the United States and Canada before settling down in Burlington, Ontario in 1980. With his father being a Carnival Cruise Director for over 20 years, travelling and entertaining are in his blood. The world was his classroom. In 1985 Simon took an interest in Martial Arts, which he continues to practice today. He attained his Yodan belt or fourth degree black belt in Wado Kai Karate and competed for 24 years. In 2000 he was a part of the Canadian National Karate team. It was during his competitive years that his interest in acting and stunt performing peaked. However, a career in animation was becoming more of a reality. Simon went to Sheridan College and began taking animation courses in 1992.
