Biography

Cameron Nugent has been entertaining since the ripe age of 12. In a twist of fate, he found himself talking his way through his first television appearance in an advertisement for National Nine News when the scheduled actor failed to show on location at his Melbourne home back in 1986. Soon afterwards, Cameron found himself with a lead role in the hit children television series Round the Twist, which led to a string of leading roles in children's programs such as Ratbag Hero, and the award winning The Big Wish, for which he received an AFI Nomination. From television, he progressed to feature films, landing leading roles in such Australian productions as Snowy, Dusty II, The Merchant of Fairness and Blackrock, in which he starred with the late Heath Ledger.
