Paula J. Newman

British Transplant to the United States in her teens. Graduate of Carnegie Mellon School of Acting, Paula began her teen career as a singer/improv troupe member in England, touring England with Theatre in Education Groups, appearing in the Edinburgh Fringe Festival over the years and then attaining the LAMDA Gold Medal Award. Completed the American Conservatory Theatre's Summer Program and became a member of the San Francisco's TheatreSports 2nd Sunday Company before attending Carnegie Mellon's prestigious acting program, (BFA) . Member of Pittsburgh TheatreSports and was the instigator of the first ever Los Angeles Showcase for CMU graduates. A Nominee for LA Theatre's Ovation Award, founder of the Ecstatic Theatre Ensemble, Groundlings student (class with Jimmy Fallon) and Stand Up Comic performances including venues - Laugh Factory Hollywood, House of Comedy - Phoenix, The Comedy Store, Flappers Comedy Club, The Hollywood Comedy, Glendale ComicCure etc. She is a regular on WOLF LIVE
