Bruce Neckels

Award-winning Bruce Neckels has 40 years of professional experience in the entertainment industry. His acting credits in numerous film, television and stage productions brings another level of creativity to his writing. Bruce is writing A Matter of Conscience, a biographical account of his life in the '60s. The book includes his intensely personal experiences with the Vietnam War and the price he paid for being against it along with the rewards that followed. He earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree from San Francisco State College, in Radio-Television Broadcasting, with a minor in Drama. His first break as a writer came in 1989 and since then, has scripted more than 700 episodes for daytime and prime time television earning three EMMY® nominations and the Writers Guild of America Award. Prior to his writing career, Bruce worked as an actor in theatre, feature films and television.
