Matheus Nachtergaele

Matheus Nachtergaele is a Brazilian actor, director, and writer who built his career from São Paulo, shaped by the early loss of his mother and by his theatrical training with Antunes Filho and at the Escola de Arte Dramática da USP. After emerging onstage with Teatro da Vertigem, he moved into television and film, gaining visibility in Brazilian drama and international recognition at major festivals. His career spans film, TV, theatre, and voice work, with recurring collaborations with Walter Salles, Cláudio Assis, and Guel Arraes. As a filmmaker, he debuted with A Festa da Menina Morta, a work recognized at Cannes and awarded by APCA.
