Biography

Michael Kiu Wai Miu was born on June 18, 1958 in Hong Kong. One of the most popular young actors of the 1980s in Hong Kong, he rose to fame alongside Tony Leung, Andy Lau, Felix Wong and Kent Tong, as TVB's "Five Tigers". Miu made a trademark for his role as the antagonist, Yeung Hong in the 1983 TV drama The Legend of the Condor Heroes (The Legend of the Condor Heroes (1983)). More recently, he is known for his work on Flying Tiger (2018), The Legend of the Condor Heroes (2017) and Line Walker (2014). He has been married to actress Jaime Mei-Chun Chik since 1990. They have two children, Murphy Miu and actress Phoebe Miu.
