Biography

Brooklyn born Naylon Mitchell always enjoyed the art of Acting. He began his career in high school performing in community theater. While at Erasmus Hall high school he was taking acting class at the New Federal Theater studying under Director, Bill Duke. After graduating from Brooklyn College with a degree in Filmmaking, he decided to take on the challenge of working as a model and actor. He started booking print jobs and commercials. Eventually Naylon started working on Soap Operas with his first job on "The Guiding Light". While working at Joe Papp's, Public Theater in the East Village, Naylon formed some great friendships with many performers who while on their way are now professionals at the top of their game. He eventually landed a in role in 1983 as a busboy in "The Cotton Club" with Richard Gere. This turned out to be a 3 month job.
