Biography

Daren Kelly began performing in plays, musicals and forensic contests in High School. He made his professional debut at California's South Coast Repertory Theatre in 1974, performing Shakespeare and Moliere. Moving east to Chicago in 1974, he was featured in stock with Richard Kiley, Sada Thompson, Barbara BelGeddes , Jeffrey Tambor, and Tammy Grimes. In 1975, he began a three year stint on TV's All My Children. He made his Broadway debut in 1978 in Deathtrap, with John Wood, Stacy Keach, and John Cullum.. There followed featured roles in Woman of the Year, with Lauren Bacall and Raquel Welch, Crazy for You, with Karen Ziemba, and NYCLO's South Pacific with Justino Diaz. Daren toured the nation in Footloose with Christian Borle and Matt Morrison. His Film and TV credits include Kingdom Coming, M*A*S*H, the entire Law & Order franchise, Love Hurts with Jeff Daniels, Kate & Allie, Tales from the Darkside, Trueblood, and Marvelous Mrs Meisal.
