Biography

Khadijah is an actress, writer and producer from Dallas, Texas. At an early age, Ms. Karriem began performing around the Dallas metropolitan area, and in school plays. Her training as an actress began to take shape when she was accepted into the highly acclaimed Booker T. Washington Arts Magnet High School in Dallas, Texas. After winning the first-place award in the Arts Recognition and Talent Search for Texas, she went on to the Nationals where she placed third. She then went on to attend the prestigious University of the Arts School, in Philadelphia. She starred in several stage productions. Ms Karriem wrote, produced, and performed, her solo show stage thesis, "The Blue's Ain't Nothin but Women", the story of Dinah Washington. Since graduating with a B.F.A in theater, Ms. Karriem has appeared in various film, television, and stage roles including Walker Texas Ranger, the made-for-TV movie True Women, co-starring along side of Angelina Jolie, Dana Delaney, and Charles Dutton.
