Mamta Kaash

Indian born Mamta Kaash was raised in London from a young age. Her father Worked for BBC's External Services, rising through the ranks to become the first ever Asian to head the BBC'S broadcasting Services to the Asian sub-continent. He had previously worked as an actor for PRITHVI Theatre, broadcaster in All India Radio & as an academic.. Her mother comes from an Indian Industrialists family & is related to the great Indian singer Sehgal. Her mother worked with Kodak & is a prize winner in dance and playing Sitar. Mamta started acting in school plays & devising her own productions. She studied Economics at Uni. & attended drama and production courses. She is married to businessman DK, a former banker & moved with him to the East for several years, before recently returning to London to renew her career. Her breakthrough, while at college came through BBC TV'S popular Series Angels where she was cast as one of the ANGELS. She was cast as a lead in several popular TV Series like EMMERDA
