Ryan Johnson

Ryan Johnson is an Australian actor who has been seen in over over 200 hours of film and television, over past two decades. He graduated from QUT with a BA in acting in 1999 but landed a main role in his first feature film 'City Loop' whilst in his second year of study. He went on to tour with the Sydney Theatre Company, in Martin McDonagh's The Beauty Queen of Leenane, to critical acclaim and soon after landed one of the lead roles in the ABC show 'Headstart'. Building on his growing profile, the features 'Thunderstruck', 'The Wannabes' and a regular role on the series 'The Secret Life of Us', placed Ryan firmly on the Australian film and television map. His first international break came when he was cast in the Australian/U.K. collaboration 'Dossa and Joe', written and directed by Caroline Ahern, for BBC1.
