Lance R. Jones

Lance was born and raised in Missoula, Montana to the parents of Bev and Ron Jones. He has two brothers, Chong Jones and Brent Jones (deceased 1981). He went to Hellgate High School, where he was on the Varsity Track and Field Team. He was as Academic All-American and in Who's Who in High Schools for three years. He was also a member of the USA Track and Field Junior teams representing the U.S.A. in the Friendship Games in China and South Korea. Lance attended Jamestown College with a Track and Field/Academic Scholarship. He graduated with honors with a Bachelor of Arts Degree. He majored in: History/Political Science, Studio Art, Theatre, and Secondary Education. He also received minors in: French, Asian Studies and Art History. During this time, Lance earned great recognition as an artist, displaying his works throughout Montana, North Dakota, Idaho, Minnesota and parts of Europe. His works have also been displayed in the White House after winning the Governor's Award for the state
