Biography

Jim Jarrett was the last teaching protégé of legendary acting teacher, Sanford Meisner. Now, a quarter century later, he is considered the most respected teacher of The Meisner Technique in the world. Over the past twenty-five years, Jarrett has directed hundreds of actors for theater, television, and feature films. He also works privately directing actors on their own projects as well as directing several of his own. His recent writing and directing credits include: Vincent, Leonard Nimoy's one-man show is one of the most respected and successful touring productions in the world. Meisner, Jarrett's original full-length play premiered at San Francisco's historic Magic Theatre in 2007 and was a critical and commercial success. Jarrett has since adapted Meisner into a full-length feature film which he will also direct.
