Biography

Doctor Ice a founding member of UTFO and current member of Whodini, is an American Hip-Hop artist from Brooklyn, N.Y. Doc Ice is best known for his work as a performer and writer of the UTFO classics; "Roxanne, Roxanne", "Leader of the Pack", "Split Personality" and "Cold Wanna Be With Me". The UTFO record "Roxanne, Roxanne" was ranked number 84 on VH1's 100 Greatest Songs of Hip Hop [2008]. Doc Ice went on to have a solo career in 1989 with the debut album "Mic Stalker" which spawned the hits "Sue Me", "Word to the Wise" and "Love Jones". He also went on to work as a co-writer for Bobby Brown & in the soundtrack departments of the classic films "Stay Tuned" & "Nightmare on Elm Street 5: The Dream Child". Doc released a second solo album "Rely On Selph" (1994).
