Xin Huo

She began her career in film as a screenwriter for titles such as Shower (1999), Kung Fu Hustle (2004), Curiosity Kills The Cat (2006) and The Monkey King (2024). In 2024 she made her directorial debut with Bound in Heaven, which tells the story of a terminally ill man and a young woman who begin an escape against the clock through several cities, premiered at the San Sebastian International Film Festival.
