Biography

David Hussey began acting professionally at age 11, when he appeared alongside Howard Keel in Camelot. Soon after, he studied acting, dance and technical theatre while monthly performing shows at the Creative Arts Theatre School, a unique extra-curricular school in Arlington, Texas. Building on these experiences, David entered the undergraduate theatre department at S.M.U., ranked the number one program in the country, and there won both the prestigious Greer Garson Acting Award and Edith Renshaw Award for outstanding undergraduate acting student. While in Dallas, he performed opposite George C. Scott in "Finding the Way Home," and Valerie Bertinelli in "Pancho Barnes." He also featured in several plays, culminating with the lead roles of HAMLET and PRINCE HAL at Fort Worth Shakespeare in the Park.
