Biography

Having first trained at A.C.T. in San Francisco, Faleena moved to Los Angeles and worked as an actress while performing stand-up comedy regularly at The Improv and Comedy Store. She wrote and performed a one-woman show called "Devil's Mercy" acclaimed by both LA Weekly and Dramalogue, and was singled out by Variety, Los Angeles Times, and Hollywood Reporter for her lead role in the feature film "Close Call." In 2004 she became a professional fashion photographer, shooting NYC Fashion Weeks with editorial spreads published in high-end fashion magazines. She retired from photography after ten years, due to burnout, end of 2014. However, In 2017 revisited it to shoot her own covers for her hit book series, Cocker Brothers, interviewing the models in character for her fans. That series is self-published, has 19 books and counting, and has sold over half-a-million on Amazon.
