Biography

Rick Lindland was born in Bay City, Michigan. His family moved to Studio City, Los Angeles from a Chicago suburb, Deerfield, when he was four years old. While he was in high-school, he tried out for a professional boxing gym in Van Nuys and became an amateur fighter for Greg Goossen from the renowned Ten Goose Professional Boxing. One night after a boxing match, he was approached at Jerry's Famous Deli by two female agents and was signed by their agency. Soon afterwards, he was signed by Ford Models, and began working as a model, traveling to Milan, New York, Athens, and the other fashion capitals of the world. Rick decided to pursue acting, and landed a small role in "General Hospital." Shortly afterwards, he read for a part to play the lead opposite Rose McGowan in Jawbreaker (1999). Although he came close to playing opposite Rose, the producers instead gave him the role of the "Auto Shop Stud" opposite Judy Greer.
