She is the recipient of a Gemini award for best dramatic short television show for Clothesline Patch. She is the recipient of multiple other top awards in Canada and the US for her films including winner of TIFF award for Best Short film, winner of Vancouver International FF Award for best Animated film, Winner of Vanguard Award from Laguna Beach Film Festival, Winner of Best Drama from Cinequest Film Festival, California, Winner of People's Choice Award from Dawson City Film Festival, Winner of Golden Sheaf Award from Yorkton Film Festival, and Winner of Best Screenplay from Flicks International Film Festival.
