Ivo Lopez

Ivo Luis Lopez is an American actor, photographer and farmer. Lopez was born on October 21, 1963 in Ciego de Avila, Cuba. Two years later, his family fled the communist-ruled island for Madrid. They lived in Spain for a year then relocated to the United States, spending six years in Brooklyn, New York before moving to Atlanta, Georgia and ultimately settling in Miami Beach, Florida. His father, Edelman Lopez, worked in real estate while his mother, Emma Herrera, was a nurse. Lopez is the youngest of three children, the oldest being his sister, Emma Lopez. His middle sibling is his brother, Edelman Lopez. Lopez spent his formative years in Catholic schools but graduated from a military high school, where his parents enrolled him in hope of taming his "spiritedness." He continued his formal education with two years of study at Miami Dade College. Not sure where to go with life after college, he worked in a variety of jobs, from cable TV sales to bartending and on-set production work. W
