Dean Lawrence

Dean Lawrence was born in Bristol, England in 1962. At age 11, he enrolled in the Barbara Speake Stage School. He went on to star as Edmund in the feature film Robin Hood Junior in 1974 and had feature roles in the musical Joseph and the Amazing Techicolor Dreamcoat in the West End in 1973 and Carry On London in 1974. His is most famous for playing the role of Tyso Boswell in "The Tomorrow People" from 1974 to 1977. After he left the series, he also played another memorable role as Ron in the seven-episode series "Westaway" in 1977 and appeared in several stage productions and worked in modeling from 1977-78. Dean returned to Bristol in 1978 and established his own business selling unusual and specialist clothing designs. However he has occasionally come out of his self-imposed retirement from acting to appear in a few BBC TV and film productions in small parts.
