Tom Gianelli

Tom Gianelli is an actor/stuntman best known for his performance as a funny young sports reporter on the Emmy award winning HBO series Arlis$. Actor, writer and stuntman Tom is originally from Louisville, Kentucky. His Step-father William L. Asman, is a Director of photography. Tom's Uncle Bub Asman is a Sound Editor and the (winner of 2 Oscars). Tom's family moved to California to work in the motion picture business when he was 9 years old. Tom's family settled in the small town of Thousand Oaks a suburb 30 miles outside the Hollywood area. While in high school Tom maintained a 3.8 GPA, he lettered all 4 years in Football and Track, (3 years were Varsity) . Still in high school at the age of 14 he worked out as a Stand-up comedian at the Comedy Store and the Laugh Factory in Hollywood. He was a member of comedian Sam Kinison's entourage the "Outlaws". At 16 he took 3rd in a local talent contest but earned a guest "DJ" job at a local radio station KNJO doing comedy, impersonations
