Danny Gellis

Daniel Howard Gellis was born on May 04, 1971 in Van Nuys, California, USA as Daniel H. Gellis. He was the third child of Howard and Patricia Gellis. From as young as a toddler, Danny modeled for Mattel, Fisher-Price and May Company. By the age of 5, he starred in the Oscar Award Winning Short Subject, The Birthday, (1976) before Co-Starring in the film The Big Fix (1977). He appeared on episodes of The Waltons (1978) He became a series regular on the Television Drama, Knots Landing (1979 - 1982) as Jason Avery. Throughout his stint on Knots Landing, Danny still managed to appear in several films, including Chapter Two. (1980) and Private Benjamin (1980) amongst television commercials for products such as Knight Rider Kit Car (1981), Jell-O (1982), Whishing Stars Cereal (1982), Voice Character for Disney World Tokyo (1983) until booking the role of Jimmy Desmond on Capitol Soap Opera (1982 - 1987) where he was nominated twice for Best Young Actor at the Youth and Film awards.
