Lorraine Gary

Lorraine Gary is a retired American actress best known as Ellen Brody in the Jaws series. She also appeared in 1941 and Car Wash. Born in Queens and raised in Los Angeles, she was a life member of the Actors Studio, worked in TV in the late '60s, and founded New Hope Productions. Active in human rights, she retired after 1941, briefly returning in Jaws: The Revenge.
