Toni Gable

Joyce Barbara Anthony, at age 15, was selected Miss All-India 1938 on Friday January 28, 1938 at the Taj Mahal Hotel in Bombay. The event was sponsored by The Sunday Standard newspaper. Joyce arrived in England during November of the same year, and worked in cabaret, dance, film, modeling and variety. She used the stage name "Toni Gable" for film. She emigrated to Canada in 1952.
