Julia Fowler

Gaffney, SC native Julia Fowler is an actor, author and screenwriter currently writing on the new Netflix comedy, "Country Comfort." Julia is the creator of the Southern Women Channel, a YouTube channel with over 25 million views. Julia writes, directs and acts in all of the videos which have gone viral, been written about in newspapers throughout the South, and were featured on "The Today Show." Her book, "Talk Southern To Me," released by Gibbs-Smith Publishing, is a collection of comedic essays and southernisms that has been endorsed by Dolly Parton as "fun, informative and oh so Southern." Julia's second book, "Embrace Your Southern Sugar," will be released by Gibbs-Smith Publishing in September 2020.
