Biography

From the blue collar world of Roseanne (1988) to the heartwarming drama 7th Heaven (1996), Dan Foliart's music has flavored every human emotion. Raised in Oklahoma to a prominent trial lawyer, Dan attended Amherst College to follow in his father's footsteps, but by his junior year he succumbed to his true passion, music. Transferring to the University of Southern California Dan quickly got down to business, scoring his first feature _The Only Way Home (1972)_ with Tom Shapiro. After returning to Amherst to receive his B.A., he once again ventured west, teaming with Howard Pearl to score his first television series Angie (1979). Happy Days (1974), Laverne & Shirley (1976), Mary (1985), Joanie Loves Chachi (1982), Beverly Hills, 90210 (1990) and many others soon followed suit.
