Biography

Deirdre is an actress, director, and a teacher from Boston. She has worked with many theaters in Europe and the USA. In Germany, Deirdre was a member of the Schiller Theater company for 1 year. She worked on several international films, notably "The Rosegarten" with Peter Fonda and Liv Ulman. Her first film role was as a Russian spy in Leo Penn's, "Judgement in Berlin" starring Martin Sheen and Sean Penn. High points of her life in Europe are tour guiding in the Soviet Sector of the divided city and singing with the RIAS II Orchestra for President Reagan. After attending RADA in London, she worked with director Walter Hill on "Another 48hrs", "Geronimo", and "Last Man Standing". She holds a BFA from Emerson College, an M.Ed., and MA. She has taught theater K-12 for 24 years. Voice over is a passion along with her dogs and daughter Fiona.
