Biography

For 40 years, Sean Ferrer has worked in all aspects of motion picture development, production, post-production and marketing. After taking a short sabbatical to create a series of charities dedicated to continuing his mother's humanitarian legacy, Sean directed and produced a one-man feature documentary titled, Racehoss (2001). Shot on HDTV, Racehoss (2001) is based on the highly successful biography by Albert Race Sample currently being developed as a feature by Mike Judge. Sean also executive produced of the award winning Australian mini series Cloudstreet (2011), based on the Australian best selling novel by Tim Winton. He is also the executive producer of Living the Blues (2010), a documentary about blues singers and musicians. Previously, Sean produced the motion picture Pretty Hattie's Baby (1991) raising the $6 mill budget independently. The film stars Alfre Woodard, Jill Clayburgh, Allison Elliot, Tess Harper and Charles S. Dutton. Directed by Ivan Passer, Pretty Hattie's Baby
