He's one of the most popular Spanish Song performers in Spain. After doing several jobs, and just after leaving the military service, he worked as a taxi driver for seven years. Keen on flamenco, he used to imitate great stars like Antonio Marchena, Manolo Caracol, Juanito Valderrama and Rafael Farina. In fact, his name is derived from the latter singer, due to his ability to imitate his voice. Soon he became famous and also a song social phenomenon. Songs like "El toro guapo" are widely known in Spain yet. As an actor, he has had a big success with the TV series Menudo es mi padre (1996), where he demonstrated his straightforward fashion and sense of humor.
