Biography

Rebecca is best known for her appearance on NBC's flagship comedy 'THE GOOD PLACE' as Kamilah-Al-Jamil, the enigmatic sister and nemesis of Tahani Al-Jamil. Previous work includes roles on iconic shows 'Lost', 'ER' and Grey's Anatomy'. But her first major recognition in the US was for the role of 'Asha', one of the lead ensemble cast for NBC's primetime cult comedy 'Outsourced', for which Variety listed her as a "breakout performer", describing her presence on the show as "superb". Rebecca got her first TV break after being scouted to model on the BBC's iconic fashion show, 'The Clothes Show', whilst truanting from school. She studied Theatre and English at the exclusive King Edwards VI College in Stourbridge, alumni's include Robert Plant and J.R.R. Tolkien. She graduated with a high class honours degree in English Literature from Bretton Hall, where she formed a theatre company and took a play to The Edinburgh Festival.
