Biography

Nick Hamm is a BAFTA award-winning British director and producer whose work extends to feature films, television and theatre. Hamm spent many years as a resident director with the Royal Shakespeare Company, focusing on both Shakespeare and contemporary playwrights; the latter including, Howard Barker, Edward Bond and Arthur Miller. After winning a BAFTA for his dramatic film based on a Chekhov story starring Edward Fox, Hamm transitioned into film and television. Hamm's work for British television includes the series "Play On One" for the BBC, starring Catherine Zeta-Jones and Colin Firth. He later directed the highly acclaimed ITV series "Rik Mayall Presents", starring Helena Bonham Carter. In the US, Hamm was the Showrunner and Director for EOne's dramatic thriller series "Rogue", starring award-winner Thandie Newton, as well as DirecTV/AT&T's highly acclaimed drama series "Full Circle", created by playwright Neil LaBute.
