Biography

Rex Hagon was born in 1947, to William and Corinne Hagon of Toronto, Ontario, Canada, as the second of three children. His older brother Garrick is a prolific actor, on stage, the big screen and in countless audio books. while his sister June-now retired, spent her life working tirelessly in the field of geriatric medicine. Rex started his career at the age of 5, appearing in many CBC-TV and Radio productions. An early success was landing the title role of "The Kid" in W.O. Mitchel's iconic "Jake and the Kid." Rex also appeared in the popular Canadian TV series "The Forest Rangers" as Peter Keeley, acting alongside Ralph Endersby, Susan Conway, and Peter Tully. The rough-and-tumble nature of the production-shot in Kleinberg- required him to draw on his skills as an outdoors-person helped spur a life-long interest in nature and the outdoors, a love he has passed on to his family.
