Biography

Colleen Grillo began her career as a copywriter for a multi award-winning advertising agency. She moved to the entertainment industry and worked as an assistant to a film mogul by day and as a freelance writer by night. She wrote script coverage, spec scripts, advertising copy, one sheets for the studios, and published articles for Los Angeles Magazine and The Los Angeles Times. One spec script she wrote led to agency representation and to a network executive position at ABC for Specials and Reality TV. As a network executive, Colleen bought and spearheaded myriad highly rated projects including one of the most successful shows in history "America's Funniest Home Videos," now in the Smithsonian Museum. She transitioned from the network to production as a producer for Dennis Miller first on his syndicated show and then as the sole talent producer on HBO's "Dennis Miller Live" booking and interviewing A-list celebrities and politicians on a weekly basis.
